Ahh! Thank you so much for making this! It's nice to see it all laid out at once. No matter how many times I would ask people the difference of CMYK and RGB (when it came to art-making in relation to something that would be printed) I always got answers that just confused me more. This helps a lot! D:

Phew!

I activated prints, so if you want a physical copy, you can have one. Or just put it up on a projector screen. :eager: It's meant to be a learning tool, and a classroom is the best place for learning :#1:

Yay, color models!

It never fails to amuse me that scattered all over my design school are color wheel posters that still operate on red/yellow/blue primary colors, when every actual instructor that remotely touches on color theory OR printing reminds us endlessly that that's not the case. :D

Actually, the K in CMYK stands for "Key" which is an old printing term. Pressmen called black key because they registered the other colors to the black plate. Useless knowledge from my former life

Really nice summary. Maybe you could add that the K in CMYK stands for Key.

Good work. I'm a printing press operator myself, so I am all too familar with CMYK.

Perhaps you know this, perhaps not...

There is a different CMYK model that can be used in printing called Hexachrome. Instead of a 4-color process, it is 6, (CGMOYK). Cyan, Green, Magenta, Orange, Yellow and Black). Although rarely used, it produces a larger color gamut and stronger color satuation.
